Leading Edge welcomes blog posts that further our mission of inspiring, preparing and empowering the women of Alabama to lead our state to a more equitable and prosperous future.

Here are a few suggested guidelines for your blog post.

• Please limit your post to 600 words.  A minimum of at least 300 words is preferred, but not required.
• You are welcome to include up to three links to other relevant articles, blog posts, or websites within the text of your post.  You can also include a photo or graphic related to your post if you wish.
• Include a two to three sentence bio with your post.  You can also include a photo and one or two relevant links with your bio sketch.
• Please proofread your post before submitting it.  We’ll make minor edits to your spelling and grammar as needed.
• Please email the text of your post along with any attachments that you think are relevant (like a photo for your bio sketch, for example) to blog@leadingedgeinst.org.  You can email any questions you have to the same address.

There are no specific guidelines for post topics.  We’d like for you to write about whatever inspires you, whether that’s social justice, raising your daughter, your work, or a piece of art you created or saw.  Use your creativity.  We are interested in posting pieces that inspire or educate, not just pieces that promote Leading Edge.

After submitting your post, you’ll receive an email from us letting you know when to be watching the blog for your contribution.
